Sample Scholarship Essays Criteria For Award:
1. The researcher must be a student member of the American Art Therapy Association, Inc.
2. An art therapist must be the principal investigator.
3. The study must be conducted in the area of applied art therapy research.
4. The research design must use a statistical measure.
5. The research must be student work completed within the past year.

Restrictions:
1. The financial award is $ 250.00.
2. The research results will be made available to members of the American Art Therapy Association, Inc. The method of dissemination will be determined by the Association Research Committee.
3. The submission must adhere to APA publication guidelines.

Sample Scholarship Essays Application Schedule:
1. The deadline for submission of papers to be considered for this award will be April 1 of the year following graduation (both May and December graduates may submit papers by April 1 of the following year).
2. The Research Committee will review submissions and determine the winner prior to the annual conference.
3. The name of the winner will be announced, and the award presented at the Awards Ceremony at the annual conference.

The Sample Scholarship Essays candidates will have a 1st Class Honours or equivalent and should be eligible for APA or equivalent. Basic expertise in cell culture, transfection and microscopy is required. Experience in biochemistry (western blotting, pull down etc…) would be helpful.

REMUNERATION: The University of Queensland offers competitive scholarship options.

Prospective students will be expected to secure either an:

· Australian Postgraduate Award (APA; for Australian citizens) OR an

· International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS; International students).

N.B. to be competitive for an IPRS at least one publication, preferably as first author, may be required.

ECBA College Sample Scholarship Essays

Sample Scholarship Essays applications must be completed and returned to the Erie County Bar Association by June 30 of each year. Second year recipients of a scholarship must reapply as they enter their third year, following the same procedures.

The ECBA Sample Scholarship Essays Committee reviews all applications, basing their evaluation on numerous factors including financial need. The Scholarship Committee is composed of members of the Erie County Bar Association.

Eligibility Erie County, Pennsylvania residents who have been accepted to, or who are currently enrolled in, accredited law schools are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Awards may be granted to students entering their first year of law school.
