
TEKPS Sample Scholarship Essays is set up in commemoration of Mr Tan Ean Kiam, the father of the late Mr Tan Tock San who is the founder chairman Tan Kah Kee Foundation. Mr Tan Ean Kiam (1881-1943), is a renowned banker and community leader in pre-war Singapore. He is a director of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and president of the association many clan was founded. In 1937, Tan Ean Kiam, along with five others of his contemporaries, the Lee Kong Chian, Lee Chin Tian, Lee Choon Seng, Chew and Yeo Swee Kiat Hean Tiow, gather their resources to obtain the villa that Dr. Sun Yat Mon to stay while he in Singapore. In 1938, Tan Ean Kiam became a member of the Federation committee Nanyang China Relief Fund (NFCRF). Tan Ean Kiam Sample Scholarship Essays served in many Chinese school board as chairman and director. He donated generously to education. The newly formed TEKPS is funded by the Tan Ean Kiam Foundation.
Requirements: The Sample Scholarship Essays is very selective. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
-Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident;
-The academic position (at least Upper Second Class Honours Degree or equivalent);
Strong-Interest and commitment to serve society; Effective bilingual
